GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation, a privacy law that regulates the processing of personal data relating to individuals in the European Union. It strengthens the rights individuals have regarding their personal data, and seeks to unify data protection laws across Europe.

We treat everyone as if they lived in the EU. That means you can:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we've collected about you. Unless you're in one of our online courses, the answer is your email address and first name. For students in our courses, we only keep data about your actual interactions and engagement in the seminars.
• Request that we stop sending you direct marketing messages. Unsubscribe, and we'll stop emailing you. Our goal is to provide helpful resources – not to profit from your data.

We use Mailchimp to send our email messages, and we'll work with them to remove your name (there's also an unsubscribe button in every email). All credit card processing is done with Stripe, and we never see your card data.

Like many other websites, LeaderAssistant.com makes use of log files. These files simply log visitors to the site – a standard procedure for hosting companies and part of hosting analytics. The information inside them includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring and exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any personally identifiable information.
